47 coe king pin needle bearings has anybody know of king pin needle bearings ?

Re: 47 coe king pin needle bearings Have seen them but a bad choice as the wear little flat spots or ridges from just rocking back and forth.

Re: 47 coe king pin needle bearings As Kiwin points out needle bearings on king pin's are prone to failure. This has been discussed on this and other sites and it's not a good idea. Bearings like to rotate at their designed rate, not rotate at a few degrees back and forth.

Re: 47 coe king pin needle bearings We've supplied needle roller thrust bearings for 20's -30's Dodges &have had NO problems with wear at all what so ever.These AREN'T needle roller cages but needle roller thrust, which is a washer with needle rollers pressed into it ,commonly used in torque convertors&manual transmissions for there load carrying capacity, the trade part number is : TORRINGTON NTA thrust needle roller assembly&TRA/TRB/TRC for the washer assembly which the NTA thrust needle roller bearing sits on they're availa ble in differrent dimensions &thickness, they lighten up your steering.

Torringtons and the above-mentioned king pin roller bearings are TWO completely different animals which actually work (or don't work for the king pins) based on two different sets of physical principles. Coop . |
