Another YouTube video....

...and this time I just want to post it up as entertainment and to promote our good friend and fellow 'barner Steve Becker's place. (www.modelastore.com)

Click onto the video and enjoy the tour of Steve's Berts Model A store;

Two inch tyres separate the men from the boys.

The video was fun to watch. Wish we could have seen more of Bert's. I'm not sure if the new buyers were brave or just foolish.

hope that '31 had the Mitchell Overdrive, that engine would be screaming if not flying apart at 60 mph

Marty, maybe that is just the cultural differences of today vs. 2-3 or 4 decades ago. Thinking about it, there is a popular saying that many use of 'Drive it like you stole it!' that likely shows where our culture is heading.

FWIW, when I was a kid some 50+ years ago, stealing was not something anyone wanted to be associated with or accused of. And, we were constantly instructed to take care of our stuff (clothes, bicycles, home, etc.) and other people's stuff in order to make it last. Now I guess there is no shame to be accused of stealing something, or to 'hammer on' something until it is broken or ruined. Likely the new Buyers weren't necessarily brave nor were they foolish, but maybe they were just ignorant of what could have happened. Maybe that is what made this video entertaining! :D :eek: :rolleyes:

These two guys are actually very entertaining. I've been watching their 1915 Model T videos for a few months now. The video when they take their Model T to the Ford dealership for service got 4 million views. Adding a little levity to information can be fun and not so boring for people that know nothing about Model T's and A's. We can always use some more interest in the hobby. This is a good way to get it.
