It really is a stunning restoration. Such an unusual truck and one worthy of that kind of effort. Two enthusiastic thumbs up! I'm partial to that tacoma cream grille in the photo.

Todd, I found a couple photos of my 1942 Tanker

It came from an airport in Oklahoma. Was a wings of "Phillips 66" and serviced aircraft fueling operations. Later it was used for "Monson's aerial spraying" according to the faint lettering on the tank.

too bad we did not live closer wei would ben great to work on projects together we share the skils and intrests not spelling though i am just anold gearhead .if you have an extra tanker i will steel it todd

I had it transported on a semi trailer from Oklahoma to my house in Mountlake Terrace, WA. We transferred it to my trailer hooked up to my 1979 Suburban. I towed it to Edmonds and boarded the ferry to Kingston. About 45 miles total.
