Little Dearborn I’ve been calling Little Dearborn at the number listed on their website but it’s always busy. Anyone know if they are still in business?
I also tried to send an order through the e-mail on their website but I’m not sure it went through. David Serrano. |

Re: Little Dearborn Thanks Brent. Same thing happed with Superior Car Parts, they sold the business about 8 or 9 years ago but their website is still up.
I talked to the original owners of Superior at the National Roadster Show at the L. A. Fairgrounds in Pomona around 2014. The next year, they were at the National Roadster Show again and they told me they had sold the business and they were working for the new owners. After that, their phone and e-mail were no longer in service. David Serrano |
Re: Little Dearborn As a resident of Minneapolis and member of TCMAFC it is unfortunate, but Little Dearborn is closed.

Re: Little Dearborn Growing up in Minnesota and having had model a’s since the 60s Little Dearborn was always the to go to place for parts . The salesmen knew both me and my father by our first names and would always ask how things were going. I too miss the place, I guess nothing lasts forever,Frank

Re: Little Dearborn They were the source where I purchased my front bumper for my 1928 roadster pickup I wonder who's making the bumpers today?

Re: Little Dearborn 1 Attachment(s)
I bought my first Model A, which I still own, in 1963. I just looked up my first receipt from Little Dearborn. It is dated 1-11-1964. That was the start of many trips to Washington Avenue. I like the prices for original parts better then.
Engine Gasket Set $5.50 Set of Valve Guides (NOS) $3.00 Set of Piston Rings (+.030) $5.50 No Tax |
Re: Little Dearborn I bought four sets of bumpers from them in the mid-90's. That was the place to buy bumpers back then.I still have two of the sets,I just bumped my knees on them squeezing between two A's parked nose to nose.

Re: Little Dearborn I just wonder why some of these small companies can leave their websites up after they’ve gone out of business or retired. Normally, companies have to pay an annual fee to keep their websites online and they are taken down when the fee is not paid.
I’ve been searching for Deluxe Top Irons by checking as many vendors as possible. I forgot I bought some top irons off of Craig’s List sometime back and I found them in my unorganized stash last week. I thought they were the Standard Top Irons but (correct me if I’m wrong) it looks like they are are the Deluxe because the section that attaches to the body is stainless steel. David Serrano |
Re: Little Dearborn If you find Superior, tread carefully….they aren’t at all what they used to be!!
