I bought a bunch of stuff online for the cooling system 8 days ago, and they haven't touch my order. No one has answered the phone before or after I made the purchase.

If you guys back them, I'll have faith. :)

The Early Ford Sore is the real deal just takes a while. Don't know what you ordered but you might check with C&G in Escondido for future orders. Not much of a drive from San Diego and really good people to deal with as well but that's JMO.

Great people there (Early Ford), they just get busy with online orders and in-person shoppers with minimal staff. I'm about 30 minutes away from them so I'll head up there when I need some used original items (which they don't have on their website). There's also CWMoss, where I shop the most, in Orange, CA.

Not the same place they were just a few years ago. Orders can take up to three weeks and emails, phone calls go unanswered. The slow service and lack of communication is troubling. They eventually come through but I won’t use them again for my routine purchases.

I believe they are a big time business with a small staff. The products I have purchased from the have all been top notch but a little on the slow side on delivery. Tim

It is the real deal.
If you are interested in original used or NOS stuff this is the only place to go to. None of this is on their website, you have to go there and look and dig around.
If you are just looking for aftermarket junk or catalog items then C & G may be for you since you are in San Diego.
The good stuff is at the store. Micheal (Bill's son) has really studied this old stuff and is extremely knowledgable . Everyone needs to go there, 95 % of what they have is not on the website.

Re: Early Ford Store

I ordered all the parts for the cooling system except a radiator. Early Ford called me this morning and said they're waiting for one of the water pumps before mailing everything.. This being my first time ordering and all, it was a little different than I'm used too. Thanks for the info on them.

This probably being the last significant project I do with my dad, right now I'm just trying to get it to driving condition so he can drive it. He lives in Borrego Springs, which is a small town in the desert, and is where it would be driven. This is also where the fire engine is. In do time, I'll be more concerned if some part has the Ford script on it or not.

Thanks again..

We always try to be there about noon so we can have lunch at the little Italian restaurant next door and then spend a couple hours at the Early Ford Store. Always a treat when your from Nebraska.
