Valve lash on the 3/4 grind is .012 in intake and .014 on exhaust.

I have been running the 3/4 grind in a 276" 8BA for years now. Nice lopey idle, pulls well throught the gears. I'm happy with it.

You might give Goller's Hot Rods 419-428-2271 a call. Phil has been handling most of the Motor City parts since Mark Kirby passed away.

I used to know who ground his cams but I have forgotten.

Was it Tatum in Washington State?

Tatum was a competitive engine builder. IIRC, Crower ground most if not all MCF cams.

Thanks. Crower makes sense.

I do recall Tatum offering cams and "special" grinds. I believe Dave and Mark were friends.

I assume that's a typo with the 382 duration on the full race cam. Should be 282.

I got to confirm the camshaft is a stamped Crower , it’s labelled “6 39004”. The build sheet shows was built in 1994 by MCF
