Re: Motor City Flathead - Mark Kirby Camshaft Specs Valve lash on the 3/4 grind is .012 in intake and .014 on exhaust.
I have been running the 3/4 grind in a 276" 8BA for years now. Nice lopey idle, pulls well throught the gears. I'm happy with it. |
Re: Motor City Flathead - Mark Kirby Camshaft Specs You might give Goller's Hot Rods 419-428-2271 a call. Phil has been handling most of the Motor City parts since Mark Kirby passed away.

Re: Motor City Flathead - Mark Kirby Camshaft Specs Gee, I sure wish Mark Kirby was still with us.

Re: Motor City Flathead - Mark Kirby Camshaft Specs Tatum was a competitive engine builder. IIRC, Crower ground most if not all MCF cams.

I do recall Tatum offering cams and "special" grinds. I believe Dave and Mark were friends. |

Re: Motor City Flathead - Mark Kirby Camshaft Specs I got to confirm the camshaft is a stamped Crower , it’s labelled “6 39004”. The build sheet shows was built in 1994 by MCF
