39 truck gauge rebuilding

I am going to attempt to restore the original spedometer and gauge custer in my 39 truck. I searched but have had no luck finding any tutorials or other how to information. I think I can wing it if I have to.
Where can I get the seal the holds the front glass?
Thanks

Made those seals using my wife's scrapbooking tools and a visit to a nearby craft store years ago. Mine were actually made using the back cover(very thick) from some sketch books. Couldn't find an easy source at the time but hope others chime in.

Thanks for the reply. I might have to make them like you did. I see the gauges in your avitar. Is that thd correct way for the gauges. My speedometer was on the left.

As far as I know it’s correct, my 1/2 ton has been part of my family since 1947 when my grandfather got her. Look for literature to see what other things might be different and please if possible post pictures of your project. GaryU

Not scientific, but here are all the pictures I could find that I've collected over the years. One is a '38, but all have the speedometer on the right...
