1929 Coupe cowl post repair The drivers door on the coupe I'm restoring was bent way forward at one time, deforming and tearing out the mounting on the cowl post.
I was able to repair the upper two hinge areas, but the lower one is pretty bad. I would like to find a post or that part of the post to patch in. I see there are no repos offered. Is the tudor the same? Has anyone done this repair before? |

Re: 1929 Coupe cowl post repair I've seen the 1928/29 pillars on flea pay before. All the coupe pillars should be basically the same in those years.

Re: 1929 Coupe cowl post repair As stated above, tudor and coupe's A pillars are identical. I have the lower section of the A pillar I would sell (below the windshield). I live in Twin Cities, Minnesota area if you need a decent replacement. I can send you a picture(s) if you want, if I had your email address.
