Steel Co. stamp images on my cowl-pictures

The inside of my cowl has these stamps in two places. One under the terminal box and the other on the drivers side lower panel. They came out when the etching primer was applied. An inspectors number and the location of Wheeling, WV. Anybody seen these before? The center circle appears to be a symble like the New Orlean Saints have on they're helmets.

I found similar pictures on the inside of my doors and I totally forgot to take a picture of it before I sprayed them. They appeared when I used some paint stripper on the thin layer of paint on the inside of the panel. I didn't have my camera when I uncovered them and subsequently forgot the next few times I was working on it.

These markings are from the producer of the steel - and I found a similar markings on a Model A fender when I sand-blasted it. Note that the markings include a Heat Number - which is still used by steel producers today - to track back to the material documentation.
