Emblem Restoration Has anybody had their early 30s emblem or badge restored? If so, who did you use and would you recommend them.
I have an original Fox emblem for a ‘32 grille, same as a ‘35 pickup, that I would like restored. I have found a few companies online that offer this but I prefer to use companies based on recommendations from actual customers. Thanks for the help. |
Re: Emblem Restoration I have used Karla Mya Maxwell of California. She uses vitreous(Glass) Enamel to Concours Standards. I had both lft.&rt " ZEPHYRV12" on my '38 Zephyr and the hood crest on my '48 Lincoln Continental Coupe. All turn out beautiful!
"E" her at www.MaxwellEnamels.com or call 760-941-1966 |
Re: Emblem Restoration That is a very interesting website to look through.

Re: Emblem Restoration Karla did my Model A emblem several years ago and it came back flawless. She was fast and reasonable as I recall. I would highly recommend her.

Re: Emblem Restoration I plan to have Karla, Maxwell Enamels, restore my emblem. She responded promptly to my emails and was very informative. It won't be cheap, it will take many months to complete, but it will be correct.

Re: Emblem Restoration I wonder if she would do the blue that needs painted on my 37 NOS trunk latch

Re: Emblem Restoration Wow! Karla's craftsmanship is awesome. Nice to see that quality work is still around.

Re: Emblem Restoration I spoke with Karla on the phone a couple days ago. She is a very nice lady and seems to know what she's doing. I look forward to having her restore my emblem.
