fender felt?
 

hello again, does anyone on here know what the correct name for the felt strips that get stapled to the tops of the inner front fenders and the front hood brace? where can I find it? thanx,tom:confused:

Sounds like you are talking about frame webbing. You can buy it by the roll and you would use the 1" stuff for the inner fender panels.

Thank you TJ, I have the frame webbing, I was just wondering if there was a narrower webbing for the fenders and hood brace. I'll check it Monday.

If you want narrower than 1" look at Model A running board 3/4" x 1/16" anti-squeak webbing.

Originally Ford used Pyroxyline Cloth for this that was able to be painted body color. Roy Nacewicz carried this product, his business has been purchased by Mike Driscoll at Third generation Auto Parts, I would check with him to see of it is still available.
