What Are You Most Thankful For This Year ?

What Happened This Year In Your Life
That Was Significant That You Are
Particularly Thankful For ?

For me - it was meeting Mr. Greg Grams
in the Spring and being fortunate enough
to visit The Volo Museum several times.

Every visit revealed new and unexpected
discoveries and I was fortunate enough
to be able to share them on
my YouTube channel

I consider Mr. Greg Grams to be a close friend.
Watch this video.

I’m with David ! Thankful to still be here. In March 2019 at 58 years old I had a six way heart bypass and by the Grace of God I’m still here.

Joyce and I welcomed two great grands into our ever growing family. One, a beautiful little girl named Indy, and a handsome boy named Colton. (The "beautiful" description is absolutely true, not just family pride.) Indy is by a granddaughter, Chelsea, and Colt is by a grandson, Brandon who is Chelsea's brother. Both are very good, happy little kids. God has blessed us all in amazing ways this year. I will turn 91 in December, Good Lord willing.

Not a ‘flag-waver’ or any kind of ‘patriot’ and no political belief is implied, but seriously, being born in America (or one of our democratic cousins) is an incredible advantage. Perhaps 80% of the world's population struggles just to survive regardless of whether they work hard or not. Hard work is essential but many people get nothing out of hard work but rapid aging. Life has been very, very good to me and I’ve done some things right, but simply being born as a citizen of the USA got me several rungs up the ladder from my global peers.

Well said. So true. We are so fortunate. I think about that with every news report from Ukraine. Our problems ain't nothin compared to what they deal with elsewhere.

First off thankful for my family and friends.

That's called privilege. To be recognized as a privilege. How was my soul put here in this great country. Lucky I guess. I am grateful for that privilege to be a democracy and hope to share that with thanks"giving" to all that understand. :)

Let's not forget although it's a privilege for some. It's historical not been a privilege for some. Being it's thanksgiving the tradition is about another faction that is native and not so privileged.

I hope all here are well and else where!

I'm thankful for the realization that you can't take it with you.
I'm enjoying making life a little easier for my heirs now rather than later.

I am thankful that I am a descendant of Perrigrine White, the first baby born after the Mayflower landed. Glad he made the great escape from England.

I am thankful for this day, a special day to give thanks. However, I celebrate "thanksgiving" every day, Praise the Lord!

Fantastic! My 97 year old Mom, great mind whom I just talked to and couldn't get off the phone from graciously :) , has told me a number of times that we are directly related to the a Dyer who was on the Mayflower too.
