Any barner’s have a brake lathe?

I have a chance to pick up a complete rebuilt brake lathe for a pretty good price, problem is it’s JUST the lathe, NO spacers/dies or tool/post cutters. Do any of you guys have a lathe that could share a picture of your set up for turning drums AND in particular an ammco 4000 OR know even IF a 4000 can turn drums??? Thanks for any guidance/help

I have one that doesn't work. Been on the " I'm gonna". list for a couple years now. I forget what model it is, will look at it tomorrow.

Robert I have a ammco 4000. If all you want to do is drums the tooling is cheap on eBay as well as the insterts. You’ll need the illusive 5/8 arbor and cones to do rear drums… used mine today actually and have a job lined up for it Tommorow. The centering took for discs is expensive. If doing early ford drums be sure you get the wide leather anti vibration belt not the narrow.

Had a 3/4" Barret with all the chucks I gave to a club member in FL (st pete). Best I know he still has it. Doesn't help you much I guess. When I bought it, it also had the shoe archer. but with out the swing arm. Pretty much useless with out it.

I found the boring bar holder and boring bar on EPay!!!
