1937 pickup winshield drains

I have two steel tubes that drain water away from the lower outside corners of the windshield and would like to know where Ford routed the rubber tubing from those steel tubes to the outside of the cab. I have no evidence of the original rubber tubing and can't find any outlet hole they could go through. I don't believe Ford just let the water dribble on your legs or sit in the quarter panels.

On my 37 Fordor the tubes were routed behind the side kickpanels and exited via a hole in the bottom of that area.

Never heard of that! My '36 half-ton and my '38 half-ton didn't have 'em . . . that I know of. What was the diameter? Thank you -

By my eyes and memory, the tubes are quarter inch diameter.
