LH or RH? 1 Attachment(s)
I think this is 37-38 sedan or coupe windshield garnish. Is it LH Driver side or RH passenger side?
Thanks everyone |

Re: LH or RH? RH pass side as evidenced by the cutout for the windscreen hinge

Re: LH or RH? So as I have it pictured, it is upside down?

Re: LH or RH? When you are sitting behind the steering wheel of a car, facing forward, everything to your left is the left side of the vehicle and everything to your right is the right side of the vehicle. ALWAYS.

Yes, I'm just trying to determine if the small notch is for the upper hinge or if the longer notches are on top. I was assuming this was a LH driver side garnish and the hinge fits in the smaller notch. Thanks |
Re: LH or RH? The large opening is for the defroster, if installed, and the other slot is for the windshield crank arm. Definitely a RH molding. You have it pictured correctly with the small slot to the top.

Re: LH or RH? It looks like a LH molding to me and is pictured correctly.

Re: LH or RH? It looks to be the left (driver) garnish molding.

Re: LH or RH? I just looked at my '38 coupe. It is for the right side. When installed, it will be reversed with the cut-outs pictured facing forward and the closed side on the right.
|
Re: LH or RH? Yes, I agree, as I take a better look at it, the right side is correct.

Re: LH or RH? Thanks guys. I was looking at it with the wrong side facing forward too and thought it was for the driver or LH side, but it is actually for the RH side as some of you originally stated. Thanks again for the help on it.
