Got this from a local guy who's Dad was into vintage Willy's/Jeep's. Can't find anything online that resembles this, nice and solid with interesting fabric. Maybe not even from a car?

Gary ~ That looks like a front passenger seat for a Jeep Panel Wagon or Utility Wagon. Those seats are designed so the back folds forward, and the entire seat rotates forward to allow access to the back seat area. They are hard to locate, so I would suggest any of the vintage Jeep forums for a more accurate determination. I may be incorrect, as I sold my last Panel Wagon several years ago ~ but that is what it appears to be……hope this is helpful!

With respect, I have to disagree with Marcus. I have been pondering on the seat, I believe without question its from a mid to late 20's 2 door car, passenger side. I say this due to the fancy corduroy upholstery, with rope trim. The odd feature of this one is the single mount on the back. 26-27 tudor T's had a very similar upholstery option, but not the single rear mount if I remember. The willys wagon's May have had a similar seat, but I believe they were all covered in brown hide of nauga.

Cas3 ~ I tend to agree with your analysis, but it was exactly the single mount on the rear that thrust me in the direction of a Willys Wagon; that plus the long front legs which would facilitate the rotation forward. One of my wagons had Naugahyde while two had a cloth type material ….. and I never bothered to try to determine which was correct. I do agree that the fancy cloth and rope trim would be out of place on such a utilitarian vehicle as a Utility Wagon ….. will be interesting to determine to what vehicle they actually belong. I hope Gary will post the final results of his quest.

Many-many years ago, in about 1967 or so, I went and looked at
an early 30's Whippet and your seat reminded me of that car.

I looked on the net tonight and the best I could find without spending
a lot of time, was this 1927 Willys Overland Whippet 2 dr. with seats
that are not quite as rich looking as that early 30's one I looked at
years ago, but maybe this picture might shed some light. Good Luck.

Good point Lanny, perhaps Willys used the 3 point mount for a few years if thats what Marcus remembers from owning some. My brother had a Willys wagon when I was a kid, but those memory's are buried quite deep
