Starter Drive Has any Barner used the B-11350-US Starter Drive.
If so any issues ?. Kpar |
Re: Starter Drive Keith, Yes that is the only one to use unless you can find a good original genuine Ford one. Do you have a problem with your starter? Regards, Kevin.

Re: Starter Drive The one on Mac VP's site is likely a copy of the old original types but possibly made in the USA. If it is as good as the old originals, it should work just fine. Here's a link.

Re: Starter Drive The one on our website is definitely USA made. We install them on our new starters and sell them separately.

Re: Starter Drive Thanks all, It's just that I've read a few posts on problems installing starters with repo drives on them.

Re: Starter Drive Quote:
Several years ago I installed a starter with the new style Bendix in the 8ba in my '40 1 1/2 ton flatbed. After many four letter words I was able to get it in without resorting to a grinder as others have had to do. Might have been that I had more room to maneuver the starter since it was going into a big truck. Regardless, the new style Bendix does pose an installation issue in many instance, at least in my experience. |
