Starter Drive
 

Has any Barner used the B-11350-US Starter Drive.
If so any issues ?.

Keith, Yes that is the only one to use unless you can find a good original genuine Ford one. Do you have a problem with your starter? Regards, Kevin.

The one on Mac VP's site is likely a copy of the old original types but possibly made in the USA. If it is as good as the old originals, it should work just fine. Here's a link.

The one on our website is definitely USA made. We install them on our new starters and sell them separately.

Hi Kevin, No problems with the one on the 33, just setting up a spare & hopefully never needing it. Got to do it now while I'm still capable

Thanks all, It's just that I've read a few posts on problems installing starters with repo drives on them.

Several years ago I installed a starter with the new style Bendix in the 8ba in my '40 1 1/2 ton flatbed. After many four letter words I was able to get it in without resorting to a grinder as others have had to do. Might have been that I had more room to maneuver the starter since it was going into a big truck. Regardless, the new style Bendix does pose an installation issue in many instance, at least in my experience.
