Gas pedal sticks

Looking for some advice about the gas pedal sticking. Is there a cable running to the throttle linkage that needs to be replaced or some other issue. Thanks to any help.

What you need is a good light source and a helper to work the pedal. I'm sure you will be able to determine where things are hanging up or sluggish.

Dunno Wayne. What sort of car is it?

Early Fords of "our" era tended to have mechanical linkages rather than cables. You need to look carefully at the pedal, the pivot points, the linkage ball ends and probably apply some lube to them. It's a simple mechanical system, you ought to be able to troubleshoot it yourself easier than we can look into our crystal balls and tell you what the problem is.
Don't overlook things like rubber mats, firewall insulation and carpets. All can cause a problem if not positioned properly.

Mart.
