Old Gaskets

I have numerous old water pump kits and the gaskets shrunk over the years. Is there any cure for them or just use new. I hate to toss them out if theres a cure for them.

paper gaskets will rejuvenate if sprayed with a little water, do not soak them. light oil will do the same thing
