What is the best Diode cutout What is the best diode cutout for the Model A?
I have been trying to contact Tom Wesenberg but to no avail. He and I had talked about this question back in June but now I am having trouble contacting him. |
Re: What is the best Diode cutout Fred I have used Nu-Rex for at least 10yrs now.

Re: What is the best Diode cutout Look at Fun Projects voltage regulator as a better alternative to a diode cutout.

http://www.funprojects.com/products/10505r.aspx is what you want. Their other page shows it's been out of stock forever, but give it a try. |
Re: What is the best Diode cutout I'm glad that I got my 12 volt Fun Projects voltage regulators when they were still available .

Re: What is the best Diode cutout Sorry Just went to the Fun Projects site. Should have paid closer attention to the link I copied. They are "always" out of stock. Call their number. Daughter or Wife will answer. Put you order in and they will call you when they're back in stock and ship directly to you.

Okay--sorry--I just read the other post--they do sell a positive ground unit. |
Re: What is the best Diode cutout If the cutout is a diode and you have a system that has a ground incompatible with the diode, reverse the diode connections or change the ground polarity. Diodes only conduct current in one direction on the basis of polarity.
