Ryan, please explain to all of us this TIMEOUT issue...

Ryan,

Please explain this TIMEOUT issue to all of us so if it happens to anyone of us it can be corrected.

Again, FORDBARN is the only site that does it out of the 75 plus sites that I have.

You are the computer experts...I am not.

I am sorry I am posting this here but there has to be an answer (and it could be almost anything) but if that was the case, ALL the sites I go to would TIMEOUT and they do not.

Do you have any suggestions to cure this problem?

What do your "computer troubleshooters" have to say on this issue?

Thank you so much.

Steve Plucker

Tried to post the above message but it TIMEDOUT before I could post it so posting it again.

I don't understand the TIMEOUT issue. I have never had any issue like that on this site?

Me neither. This site loads up just fine and I can post at will.
Perhaps it's a browser compatibility problem on the users end?

Have you tried logging out, then logging back in again?

In my case when I make the post, they take me some time written and upload the files, when they take me a long time, must have refresh the page. because automatically the site logged me out...

Steve, once again... We are not having any issues that I am aware of. I have not had anymore reports from anyone other than you. I'm afraid I can't help... It must be something local. Try calling your ISP.

I too encounter the time out issue. If after logging onto the site I allow some time to pass without navigating within FordBarn.com....and I am talking about minutes.....I find that I am logged off and must log on again in order to continue.

While I can't speak to Steve's issue, I don't think mine is related to the ISP I use as I have logged onto FordBarn.com from many different locations, hotels, friends, my office etc. and the result is the same. After a relatively short period of inactivity FordBarn.com logs me off.

This is a different problem entirely... and one I can help you fix. Next time you login, click the "Remember me" box. That should fix it.

That means your browser memory is full. Clear your temporary files and cache and then try again. You should be good after that.
