Just shows that it cost much more in time, energy and $$ to keep all that stuff for so many years thinking it would be valuable.

Old vehicle market is rapidly dying. Even pristine vehicles prices are dropping.

The Covid 19 mess isn't helping anything. Especially to a guy who-who maybe wanted to buy something-but isn't getting paid like he was 2 months ago. Hope things straighten up sooner than latter. Couple of those cars were sold for the price of paint and upholstery-or less.

interesting, thanks for posting. i did not go thru it all, but that stuff went cheap. you could add 5-6 grand on to both the kubota tractors, and a restored rudabega for the same price as a car trailer!

I've seen it happen myself--too much stuff at once- not enough buyers. Watched a new John Deere sell for $10,500 that had a trade-in value of $29,000. I would not sell my stuff at an Auction. Newc

That Merc for 10500 looks like a bargain

That was a good auction. Some great buys there. I used to go to farm auctions with my Dad up in Indiana. You could buy stuff dirt cheap unless you had an Amish person bidding against you. If they wanted something they usually got it.
Thanks for the post Roy.

I just checked the results of this auction have been taken down. Earlier on I scrolled thru the results and noticed that TWO Lorin Sorenson V8 books had sold for $5 or 6 bucks! Most here on the barn couldn't use a lot of the stuff that sold cheap. Any of Lorens' books are a valuable addition to your literature pile! Talk about a steal at $5 or 6 bucks... Bill

Wow, those were a steal at that price. I have a complete collection including all the Ford Life books he did with the special binders. My wife typed almost all those for Lorin. When the time comes I will send our books to the Early Ford V-8 Foundation in Auburn
