PCV on multiple carb intake
 

I’m going to be putting an Edelbrock 4x2 on my 8ba and was wondering if it’s worth goofing around trying to add a pcv system to the engine. This intake has small transfer ports between the carbs. I’m considering installing a system hidden under the intake manifold. I’m thinking if the pcv vacuum port is only under one carb it’s going to affect the mixture of only two cylinders. I suppose a fitting would need to be installed under each carb and manifold it all together? Or am I best to just let sleeping dogs lie and leave it alone and run a draft tube?

I wouldn't mess with a PCV on a multi carb setup, but that is just me.

Multi carb setups are hard enough to tune without added complications.

I am a strong believer on PCV on all engines, however, a PCV on an old flat-head that is in good shape with little to none blow bye might be over kill. I can honestly say that I have never had a blow bye issue with my '36 in the 67 years I have owned it.
I for damn sure would not install a PCV on the bottom side of the intake manifold, having to remove the intake to service the valve would be a huge waste of time.

Suspect you would be better off getting the 4 carbs operating correctly (if you ever do) before considering installation of a PCV system.
