I know this is not Model A, but I thought you might enjoy the pictures.
I was in Big Bear City last week and drove by the Nottinghan Restaurant and Tavern, that had this bus parked out front.

I wonder how many buses there were in the first place and how many have survived.

Unfortunately the better pictures are too large for downloading.

There is a 1926 White Yellowstone bus around Boone, North Carolina. The man uses it frequently in the summers.

Where would you see the bus, Main Street, around campus?? I'd love to see it.

Glacier National Park has a fleet of 1936 - 1939 White buses still in use for tours. They have retrofitted the engine and transmission (Ford) for better driving, but the rest of the bus is like original. Use your browser search and put in Glacier National Park Red Bus and you can see pictures of them.

There was an article about them in National Geographic magazine a few months ago.

Here's an interesting article on the White Yellowstone busses. I remember that there is an historical society related to these touring busses. My grandfather drove these busses in the teens in Yellowstone.

History,

I saw the bus at the Mast General Store in Valle Cruses (sp) . If you see any antique car around the area, stop and ask if they know the man that has the bus. All the antique car guys around there know each other.

Thanks for the reply. I frequent that area so I'll ask around.
