Trying to Identify Some Parts

Good morning! We've got some parts that we got that are supposed to be for a 30-31 Ford, but they weren't in boxes and didn't come labeled, so I have no idea what they are. A couple of these things look like headboards!

Any chance the forums know what these are? :) Thanks for any help!

Well picture 3 is a pair of Model A rear window shade holders, picture 4 is appears to be part of a seat frame of unknown origin......

Re: Trying to Identify Some Parts

Photo No. 1 looks to be ID numbers stamped into some part of a vehicle. Ford only stamped the Model A engines above the coolant inlet and then on the left frame near the clutch pedal location. The ID code was begin with a star and ended with a star if they're Ford but I cant even tell if that parts are steel or cast iron from the photos plus I don't see any stars.

Re: Trying to Identify Some Parts

Can't see any pictures...try this

Easy way for pics:
Click the "blue post reply" lower left bottom of page, when text box opens, in the top middle of the bar you will see a "paperclip" next to the smiley face, click that, a window will open "manage attachments" click "choose file" then pick your picture, after you picked up to seven pics click the top "upload" on the right hand side of the text box, wait for it to upload.
You must type something, anything into the text box message, scroll down to see "preview post" at bottom of your text box, you should see your message as it will appear when you post, if you like it click "submit reply" to post.
Just make sure the picture file is not to large, if your pics are too big, attached them to an e-mail, don't send it, just copy/save once attached, they're smaller.

Re: Trying to Identify Some Parts

Sorry that the pictures disappeared! No idea why, they still show on the thread when I pop in.

Thanks for the tip on the seat frame and the window shade holders! It's surprisingly difficult to figure out what these things are!
