1930 A Coupe & Mr. Deegan

Good day all

Spring has finally arrived, sort of, here where I live in Ontario, Canada.

I have never posted in this forum before,,,,,,,, just been an avid lurker and learner for a while.

No problems so far.

I thought I would give a shout-out to Mr. Dick Deegan,,,, your old "A", my new to me "A" is still running fine.

I originally intended to part with my 1926 T Runabout after acquiring the 1930 A Coupe from Dick Deegan, but,,,,,,, long story short, I just could not do it.

I finally retired in Dec of 2018 and hopefully I'm going to get in some serious pleasure time on both.

It's kind of a joke with my buddies, they call it T & A time.

Anyways, I hope you can all help me in the future with any questions that I may have.

It's OK to have two cars at once. Your runabout is a sort of "Goldilocks" car, meaning only comfortable when it's not too hot or not too cold outside. Your coupe won't care how cold or hot it is, and neither will it's passengers. I see that your trees are all leafed out. Here in S. Wisconsin, the grass is green, but trees still bare. Better days ahead. Welcome to Ford Barn! mike

Wow, that made me laugh, actually Goldilocks does have a fold down roof with full side curtains. I never really drive either one in foul weather. I know they are both up to it, but, nah.

Sorry about the pic, its from last year, no leaves yet, buds are starting and spring is coming along.

My 30 Coupe is still in winter storage on a farm just a mile out of town and the T is nesting in the garage beside the house.

My plan is to build a rear shed to store the Coupe in over the winter.

I do luv them both.

The former owner of the 30 Coupe had her dressed up a little, but I'm dressing her back down to my own taste.

The street in my town is odd, as there are many antique cars and trucks from top to bottom.

Oddly enough, we are the only street in town like this.

Pulling out of my driveway, I can stare at a 32 Ford roadster directly across the street.

In the summer when all the cars are out, it's like driving back in time.
