Kudos to Obsolete Ford Parts I'm in Hershey this week shopping and ran across Obsolete Ford Parts from Oklahoma City. They have a huge inventory down here and the staff seems knowledgeable. Anyway, I wanted to buy a new set of fender skirts for my newly acquired 54 Crestline Convertible. He had a new pair made by a company called Kim (I think) and the price was reasonable, given the fact that all they need is paint. I questioned these as being correct, since they are over 6 inches tall. I was expecting a pair in the neighborhood of 3" tall. I bought them anyway and later found a car with the correct skirts that were the 3" versions. Ten minutes later, I found another set of the 3" skirts and bought those for the car. When I returned the 6" skirts to Obsolete, they gave me a full refund, no questions asked. Stand-up guys... I then bought about $200 of additional parts from them without hesitation. I will buy from them again.

Re: Kudos to Obsolete Ford Parts I think the deep skirts were aftermarket items. I have a set of vintage Foxcraft ones for my '53. I like the look better.

Re: Kudos to Obsolete Ford Parts I would not buy anything from Obsolete Ford parts in Oklahoma City. Had a huge bad experience with them several years ago, that in the end cost me money out of my pocket through no fault of my own. just their bad business practices. I learned my lesson.

Re: Kudos to Obsolete Ford Parts Alaska Jim I have also had a couple of bad experiences with them in the past, but I have had some recent dealings with them and they seem to be greatly improved.

Re: Kudos to Obsolete Ford Parts okiedokie, glad to hear that they may have gotten better. the availability of quality pars is getting harder, and harder to find.
