Need Wiper ID Please! 6 Attachment(s)
I think the old Chrome one is '32 Roadster & Phaetons BUT if you think diff. me know!
No clue on the other, no mounting tab's, don't know what to think on that one. Thanks! |
Re: Need Wiper ID Please! If the Trico part number is still legible I have the Ford wiper specification chart and can look it up. Often the numbers have faded out so I am not optomistic they are still visible. The chart is not illustrated. When a 1932 has two wipers, drivers side & passenger side wiper, they are different.

Re: Need Wiper ID Please! 1 Attachment(s)
The one in the lower three photos does look identical to that used on '32 deluxe phaetons and roadsters for all but the last few months of the model year, although the shaft looks like it might be a bit longer than the original. The '32 cabriolet wiper motor is quite different from that used on the phaeton and roadster, as shown below.

Re: Need Wiper ID Please! DaviG, I have corrected my post, thank you!
barnstuff, Yep, numbers missing, that would have been to easy! So is the '32 Roadster motor the same as a '33 '34 '35 '36 roadsters? |
Re: Need Wiper ID Please! Very late '32 phaetons and roadster and '33-34 phaeton roadster wiper motors had snap-on covers instead of a cover retained with two screws and are interchangeable. 1935 and '36 phaeton and roadster wiper motors mount quite differently and have triangular-shaped covers; they are not interchangeable with the earlier open car wiper motors.
