Re: remanufactured engines

we have used about 100 of his rebuilds
had one engine that had an adjustable lifter set too loose. we called him, took it to his shop ad set it up correctly.
now we are only 45 miles away and we have known him for over 20 years but he does good work.

I met him in French Lick last year. I spoke with him at great length about an engine and he really knows his business. I would not hesitate to get one from him. Great guy to deal with!

I run one of his mills, 15 years of trouble free service with required maintenance. Rich is a straight up individual, I go to him in a heart beat.

I asked EVERYONE on Fordbarn, MAFCA, MARC, and beyond prior to me ordering one form him and picking it up at Hershey.
ALL reports were great !

I plan to install it soon.

I purchased the touring model with inserts, tour cam, hc head, o/s valves, etc.

You mentioned you were planning to order a Touring engine. IMO: Yes, the 6.0 is the way to go with his inserted engine. Equally important, ask Rich about cam options. Bill Stipe can set you up with a cam for maximum torque at the RPM you plan to drive at. See his info at: http://specialtymotorcams.com/

I recommend Rich very highly. Purchased touring long block from him 1 year ago. Installed it in my 30 2dr Sedan. Have had it on the road almost everyday this year. Over 3000 care free miles of wonderful Model A driving. I have the 5.5 head on mine, and love it. I live in central Michigan, so all flat land driving.
