Is there 2 different style hood latches in 1941. The grey one pictured looks different in size and shape then the one i got on a complete car. This one i found in a box of misc parts.

I checked mine. not like either. edge towards rediator is curved. not flat at front center and mine continues past the edge with the flange back towards the fender with 2 holes each side. If these are '41, looks like someone operated on them

The pictures are of the same one top and bottom. The one on the car i have here is longer and curves up toward the back and pretty much all together different.
This one pictured matches up to the curve of the grill and doesnt look like anything has been cut off or modified

Might it be from a 6 cylinder car?
