window regulator and door

I have been reading the other regulator lube thread. Regulator Roy recommends AGS Sil-Glyde brake lube, available at most auto supply stores.

My door apart to install a new regulator and felt channel for the side and division bar plus cats whiskers. What keeps this felt and rubber in the tracks? Is there something to adhere these items with?

Also would like to fix sagging door handle since everything is apart. Is the handle hard to remove? I have read in other threads about using a vice and a adjustable wrench to twist the shank. Is this the way or does something else need to be replaced?

If the channel has to be held in place, all I ever used was a few strategically placed dabs of Urethane windshield cement.
The square door handle shaft is indeed fixed using a vice and adjustable wrench.
