Carpenter 94 carb problems

Anyone having a way to rich condition with new 94 carb. Called carpenter and they told me there carbs are perfect but send back. Came back with note saying out of adjustment. Had apart checked float level, tightness of all nozels still same. Put wore out leaking carb on and runs great, any input.

Are you saying it is too rich or not rich enough?

The DC 94's that come into my shop are equipped with #53 jets and power valves that I hate.....the ones with the two square fuel outlets. I think DC would be well served if his guys purchased PV's from Daytona Parts.

Thanks, I'll replace power valve. Way to rich especially cold, with choke all the way in.

Try 50 or 51 jets. What is the spec of your motor? Normally an over rich condition is ok cold (It's like having the choke on - starts really easily) but gets ragged when hot.

I happen to have power valve, gonna change out this afternoon, with this carb it drinks more fuel than I do Budweiser.
