Is London on the Scam List Received a reply from London regarding my wanted add on Fordbarn.
Has any one else heard from " Nicholas " ? Ron |
Re: Is London on the Scam List He never gets back to me.
I tell him my brother is around the corner and can pick it up and bring the part home with him. I even go on Google Earth and make sure I pick a valid location near him. |
Re: Is London on the Scam List Kevin,
I asked him to send me some photos. Probable will not here from him. I really suspected he may be a phony. Ron |
Re: Is London on the Scam List I had previously received emails from "London" but on further inspection I figured out that they from Nigeria via London. If you want to make an investment you should invest in an internet cafe in Nigeria but make sure that you get the computer rental money up front.

Re: Is London on the Scam List I got an answer from this guy re a want ad I placed. I was looking for a rear seat bracket. He said he had exactly what I wanted, NOS in perfect condition. All I had to do was wire him $350, WHICH INCLUDED THIRD DAY UPS SHIPPING! What a deal, I thought I would faint from excitement. He also wanted my exact address so the shipment would arrive timely. I sent him the address for cemetery in the town where I grew up and left 60 years ago. I have a note in my file to wire the money on Nov. 31st.

Re: Is London on the Scam List now thats being unfair, you know nov only has 30 days lol

Re: Is London on the Scam List He answered me back, regarding the photos I requested, said he had trouble trying to send. I asked him for his tel. no. so I could have a friend in London contact him and look at the parts before I invested in them.
Doubt if I get a reply. Ron |
Re: Is London on the Scam List I just sent a reply to "Nicholas" I told him to stick his head in a bucket of water and take a deep breath.

Re: Is London on the Scam List If you look up,Nigerian 419 scam you will find thousands of complaints, and hundreds of people who actually sent money back. There also used to be pictures of exercise bikes in mud huts with generators on them to run computers. It seems the wireless signals in some places can go a long ways due to the clear air and no electronic interference.I played for a while, but I guess they blackballed me.I no longer get the offers like I used to.My goal was to become a millionaire with their checks, but I only got to about a half million.I have dozens lined up on the wall in my room. When they asked for a name for the check and a phone number I would give them the number listed on the site for the 419 scam FBI task force, and any name that came to me.I have checks made out to Al Bundy,Ted Bundy,Liberace,Herman Munster,Abe Lincoln,DR.Ben Dover,Al Capone, and a dozen others.I always told them that if they wanted my 'item' they would have to overnight the checks to me so I wouldn't sell it to somebody else. The Fedex guys told me that the guys at the terminal would all look for my mail and pass it around before it got put on the truck. That was their 4 AM chuckle. One way it used to work was that a block of letters would be sent to the US from the UK in packages. Then people here would remail them individually. The FBI guy told me those people are on the up and up.They just answered an ad to remail pre-addressed advertisements. They are paid a little bit to work at home for an hour a day and make the drop at the Fedex stop.Housewives, retirees, handicapped, jobless, all get a chance to make a little bit for a little bit of work. The FBI guy also told me that it costs about 38 pounds sterling to get that check into my hands,so I did my part in helping the UK postal service, and fedex.

Re: Is London on the Scam List As I thought, didn't get an answer !!! Here is his name, address, and e-mail:
Nicholas Alden 28 Greenwich High Rd London. [email protected] Its too bad there isn't some way to report guys like this to authorities so fraud action could be taken against them. Needless to say, I suspected it was a scam from the beginning, just wanted to see how far the guy would go. Ron |
