21st century sound system for '36 3 Attachment(s)
For $200 I have music in my '36, didn't think of it on my own, wife and kids brought me up to speed on what can be done with iPhone and Bluetooth. Put remote in glove box but don't really need to use it; everything can be run off the phone. Amp is very compact, speakers are 5.25" and just fit in the kick panels.

Re: 21st century sound system for '36 Can you give the rest of us a list of the parts used, looks interesting. Are you running 6 or 12 volt system?
Currently, I am running Bluetooth speaker ($9.99) from one of the big discount chains, and running Pandora Big Band tunes through my iPhone. Good around town, but useless at freeway speed ;) |
Re: 21st century sound system for '36 Got the system from SONIC ELECTRONIX, needs 12V negative ground, amp. is a KICKER PXBT50.2 and speakers are ROCKFORD FOSGATE 5.25". With coupons and free shipping just a few bucks over $200, comes with everything you need form the install. BTW, I like the big band sounds too.

Re: 21st century sound system for '36 Feel the use of distractions like music detracts from the real enjoyment.
ie driving a flathead which plays its own sweet music which can be fine tuned with exhausts etc. To me this is all you need. Just my personal views. Phil NZ |
