1953 Ford electric clock How do you remove the working mechanism from the case?
Is there a clock man you would recommend? Thanks, Charles In East Texas |
Re: 1953 Ford electric clock I disassembled the clock in my '41. Just did some careful prying. Mine was crimped together at the edges in a few spots

Re: 1953 Ford electric clock This clock has an electrical stud at the back. I tried to unscrew
it but would not turn with medium force. It sure appears that this stud has to come off or out to remove the clock from the case. Thanks for your reply. Charles |
Re: 1953 Ford electric clock I used Williamson's for the clocks in my 54 Ford and my 56 Bird. I had them do a quartz conversion on both. The 54 was dome about 13 years ago and it's running great. The bird was done about 9 years ago and its running great.
