chassis dyno results final results 176 hp, 200 tq. Not street friendly, but really set up for supercharger (eventually). Single Holley 600 cfm, very old Edelbrock intake, Edelbrock heads for supercharger, relieved block, 1.6 valves, Isky single springs, Schnieder cam for supercharger 284-F .433 lift, kinda heavy Arias
3 3/8 pistons for 10 lb of boost, 4" Merc crank and French 6 7/8 rods to use Ford pistons with Merc crank. http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...psg1ldodcg.jpghttp://www.fordbarn.com/forum/<a hre...psg1ldodcg.jpg |

Re: chassis dyno results 1985 Mustang, to run XF/GALT at Wilmington, Ohio. It is a ECTA event, one mile timed. Hopefully we will later add the supercharger and run XF/BGALT also.We also run at Bonneville, hold the record for XF/BGALT.

Re: chassis dyno results Saultracer. I didn't mean anything with the NM. I just mis understood your post. In any case 175 hP on a chassis dyno is over 200 on an engine dyno. Pretty stout engine. I'm building a track engine (276), looking for 200 HP with some new ideas. But, I don't think anyone has ever done that on reg gas un blown. Have a friend that has an engine I worked on, that got 235 on gas,#5 boost @ 4500 (red line) but had 300 ft lbs torque @ 3K. The power is out there, but nobody has found it yet. Been allot of clamers tho.

Re: chassis dyno results 85 mustang !!!

Re: chassis dyno results I saw a flatty in a Ford Probe. Now that was slippery.

Re: chassis dyno results |
Re: chassis dyno results Sounds impressive. I guess this means I won't get 150 HP by putting "carbs 'n heads" on my stock 239! Damn!
