new blocks

I may have missed it, but what's the latest on Terry Burtz's new blocks? Last I heard, he was still trying to find a competent foundry.

I Terry's project is shelved for awhile. We're counting on Tod to get his blocks going.
They look awsome so far. He has finished a couple of heads and when they are worked
out and going maybe he'll jump back on the blocks again.
This is exciting stuff.

I've been doing what I can all along on the blocks but I am stuck waiting on cores. I have 7 CNC machines and every one has something in it all the time. My regular work load is never ending. I am almost ready to have Prus Jr. test build the sample block I have just about finished. I don't have any help that can do more than run production, which takes up 2 machines all day every day. In my area drugs are more attractive than work so it is impossible to find more help. So I am stuck doing what I can, when I can.

Worse than all of my own issues is that I have to go to the foundries every time I need castings until they are trained enough to do it without me.

It is very difficult to deal with.

Tod

Good you are busy, but terrible that you can't find competent help.

I heard a rumor that Terry is talking to folks offshore about casting the blocks.
