29 open car wiper installation

I have a 29 phaeton (29 roadsters are the same) I need to figure out how the electric OD_O1 wiper is mounted. I did a search her on the Barn, but found nothing. The wiper itself is mounted on the inside, unlike closed car wipers that are mounted on the outside. If anyone knows how the wiper is mounted (clips maybe?) I would appreciated you post a response to how it is correctly mounted. A picture would really help.

Bob,
Thanks for the help. I do have the Service Bulletins, but never noticed the section about the open car wiper. I guess I should spent some time reading the whole book instead of looking at just what I thought I needed, little by little.

Rusty, When at my place this Saturday, for the workshop, ask to look at my Phaeton. It has a restored elec. OD-01 wiper installed.
Clips with pads as I remember.
Good day.

Re: 29 open car wiper installation

Dave,
Thanks for the info. Even though I have seen your car several times, I never noticed the OD-O1 electric wiper installed on it. It seems like most people just use Rain-X and don't have or use a wiper. When at your shop Saturday, I will check it out and maybe ask you about any questions I have with installing it. It will be a while until I need to install mine, as it still needs to be rebuilt. I hope Doug P. will help me rebuild it, as he seems to know how to rebuild wipers. I bought it on eBay 3 or 4 years ago and it was stated that it was unused, but the frame was broken and not usable. See you Saturday.
