Need a source for spoon throttle springs

I have several spoon throttles from various years and all have the spiral wound spring broken. Does anyone sell those springs and is it even possible to replace one without straightening the arm? thanks

The same spring, 48-9737 for 35-48 is $6 at C&G. 800/266-0470. I have been accused now and then of "shilling" for C&G. We use them because they are well stocked with few back orders, know their stock, and are upfront about having the parts, and an accurate estimate of when to expect shipment. We operate a large shop, and access for good parts is required for our customers.

Super. I agree with you completely. I have never had a problem with them and their advisers are the best. Shipping is generally less also.

Doesn't sound like shilling to me, sounds more like one business complementing another.

The springs slide on fairly easy and around the bend no problem. You DON'T have to straighten the arm to install.
