Does anyone know where the name model T comes from?

Ford started his company in 1903 and the first car produced was called a Model A (not to be confused with the second and later Model A of 1928). He then made a B,C...and worked his way through the alphabet. Some models never made if further than the drawing board but yes there were successful Models N,R, S and then.....T
