Lists of Spare Parts/Components for Multiple Day Trips

Are there suggested lists of spare parts/components and tools that should be taken on multiple day trips exceeding 5 days and 800 miles round trips?

If so, where might I find them?

Thanks.

Les Andrews has a list in his book but I think you would need a second car to carry it all.

A spare condenser and coil could be easily changed and get you back on the road. A carb can be easily cleaned, so you don't need a spare. A generator should have been restored, so you shouldn't need that. Maybe keep a spare head gasket, if you want to change that during a trip. Carry extra coolant if you feel the need and maybe an extra inner tube.

Inner tubes are such rubbish these days, you'd need to carry more than one. I had one last less than a mile before it blew too.
Probably the most valuable item I ever carry is a list of Model A owners where I am touring. Contact details are usually readily available from clubs. You shouldn't need any more than you can put under the seat if the car is properly prepared.

Brattons is having them made to spec due to the reasons you mentioned. Berts also has good tubes as well.

here is more info on tubes from last month;
