Re: fuel line

I've read that steel is better for a fuel line than copper, which is more susceptible to metal fatigue.

Re: fuel line

5/16" OR 3/8" steel line with a tank shut off and another shut off at the carb for those lunch stops. Being marine oriented (boats that is!) I ran a secured steel line along the frame to the fire wall, then a rubber vibration section to the valve on the carb. Keep it simple; keep it functional! ws

Re: fuel line

Thanks guys I got this speedster last fall and just started getting things worked out. First the fuel line was all rubber and was right along the ex pipe and had a few burns in it so that is a good place to start.
