Some interesting automotive uses for your favorite drink.

The original post was put up STRICTLY for humor which is contrary
to website rules but I did it because there was some automotive
content.
The original post was deleted because the thread was hijacked and
turned into a medical/political rant and that pisses me off.

COKE will also remove the was on your windshield. I prefer a COKE, water at times really cold out of the tap from my well.

Bob, forget the whitewalls, how did the horn wind up on the wrong side of the headlamp bar?

Pete, really good information, and a wake up call.:)

Very interesting, thanks. I gonna get a glass of water now.

I can make a T-bone disappear a lot quicker than two days (I prefer mine rare).
However Coke does make rum more palatable!

waste of a good tbone.

Water does a body good. Does beer count as water?

I started buying the small can cokes as I was throwing away nearly half a can due to the volume. Guess they make these (I asked a rep) for other countries due to the price there.

Not like the early cokes though, might be a good thing. ;)

OK on this subject:

1 beef pot roast
1 can of coke
1 bag Lipton onion soup mix

Put all 3 in a slow cooker on low for 6 hours...

Re: Some interesting automotive uses for your favorite drink.

Lipton is great to mix into burger meat too.

You could probably use brown sugar as a substitute for coke/suger but I'm getting off topic...

"#1 The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. It will dissolve a nail in about four days."

The key word here is "it". If "it" means Coke, no, not going to happen.
If "it" means concentrated phosphoric acid, yup.

I knew about half of that stuff about water (Thanks for the other half) Most of that stuff about coke I had heard at one time or another. I drink water and a lot of tea. My 40 yo son in law would drink only coke (Yes, I tried discouraging it) until he got a recent lab test back. Guess who's sugar levels are elevated! so now it's a water diet for him.

The yellow pack (Splenda) is not Aspartame, it's sugar.

Back in the "60's we used Coke Cola to clean our windshields. The Coke removed the film on the windshield's, whatever the film was made of.
