1932 Ford Pickup - instrument panel color

I am restoring the oval instrument panel (ie the front of the tunnel) on the dash of my 1932 pickup, and am wondering what the proper paint color should be.

It is painted gloss white, with gloss black under that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Gloss black on early production and later engine turned chrome. V8 Club book by Rehor says the change occurred in May.
