Allen Distributor Machine Info
 

I have an Allen distributor machine - Model E1219, Serial E1219A4H0279. It has no identifying info other than the ID tag.

I am looking for any and all documentation available. I was referred to Bob Masters - the apparent expert on these things, but he didn't recognize the number and had no data. I want to refurbish it and put it in service. I need a wiring diagram so I can check out/rebuild the electronics and I also need an operating manual.

Can any Fordbarner help?

DD931, check out my thread " Received my Allen Distributor Machine Today" on the fordbarn and see if yours is like mine, have books. Also, search Goggle for Allen machine information, Ebay for manuals. Have found lots on these sites, let me know if I can help.

Bruce - Thanks for the response. My machine does not have a cabinet like yours. The strobe/drive portion looks the same but the instrumentation is completely different. It may be electrically the same, though! I'll try to post a picture.

The old Allen guy is Mac Vandenbrink in Kalamazoo......he worked for Allen Test for years and services some of the old stuff.

Look him up on google...his company today is called Datec...
