engine builder in Michigan

Can anyone recommend a Model A engine builder in Michigan?

I am more than willing to put plenty of sweat equity into the build but there are certain things that go beyond my mechanical ability.

I am looking for someone that can handle the machine work and balancing, as well as some of the short block assembly.

Still debating Babbitt or inserts also.

Thanks

would also be interested in buying a rebuildable core or rebuilt shortblock.

AER is in Chicago. How far is that from you? They only do inserts though.

I have shipped several motors to MI. I have one in the crate to ship to MI right now. It will ship probably tomorrow to Romulus, MI. Shipping was 257 one way.

You could also contact Metal Crafters in Stevens Point Wis. They have done three of my engines and I am very pleased with them.
