40 Deluxe Fender brace

Question for Kube.
Is there supposed to be a fender brace from the bottom of the front fender to the chassis. This brace would be in front of the fender splash panel. It seems that my fenders angle out at the bottom rather than follow the line of the running board. I know that the fenders angle out a little from the line of the running boards but mine remind me of an air scoop, such is the angle.
Thx in advance.

Yes, There is supposed to be a brace on each fender behind the tire opening top the frame. These braces are available from most suppliers.

Max. to my knowledge the only brace on the front fender is the splash apron which also acts as a fender brace. An "extension leg" on the splash apron bolts to the front fender about 6 in up from the bottom near the wheel opening. Another bolt from the splash apron bolts to the bottom inside edge of the front fender near the running board. Perhaps if you bend the "extension leg" inward toward the body the fender will "pull in". Perform the bending with the extension arm unbolted.
