old car and airplanes?

The bumper says 36 but the wheels say 35 and the hood sides really confuse me?

It's a '34 cabriolet, lock, stock, and barrel.

Tom this is a 33-34. Notice the suicide doors. I can't quite see if it has 1 hood handle or 2 to tell if its 33 or 34

I'm not sure about the Ford, but it looks like my brothers '39 Plymouth that was a one owner and he got in in 1967.

Could it be a 38 Ford Standard? I was looking at the trunklid handle and tailights. Marv

Yup, Doug 3s! First and fourth are American "Flagship Skysleepers" (note the obligatory flags flying outside and above the co-pilot's windows. Co-pilot was responsible for placing the flags after landing roll-out, and retrieval before take-off roll. Second DC-3 belongs to TWA...note circular logo on nose. Looks like 1940-ish Burbank, as you'll also note several aircraft in the distance that appear to be Lockheed Model 18 Lodestars, manufactured at Lockheed headquarters in Burbank. DD

Here is a photo of me when I was a qualified crew chief on a Douglas C-47 B airplane operated by the CAF. Photo was taken on the flight line at Wright Patterson AFB. I flew in the USAF 60th birthday airshow. The second photo was taken in front of the FoMoCo hangar at Lansing Municipal Airport, Illinois, and the third one taken at an airshow at Middleton, Ohio. I actually was allowed to fly this airplane a few times.
