Just a suggestion; one of your options is to sell it; TO ME!

Congratulations, looks like a very nice vehicle.

BTW, Welcome to the "Barn" there is more knowledge and experience here than you could ever imagine.

There's also a few examples of bad judgement, but I'm sure you will be able to "separate the wheat from the chaff" after a while.

Re: 1936 ford pickup

That is in excellent condition and must have had a fairly easy life, for it's age (84).

In 1957 @ 12 yr old. I learned to drive in a PU, just like that. It was only 21 yr old then but, already had all the fenders cracked.

That was a great find!!

Congratulations. You'll enjoy that truck. You don't find old Fords like that where I live. I'd be excited too.

Like my truck. I call it Apatchy because he's made out of patches. It is literally a truck that never was, but I love it. Wish I could post a couple more pictures but that skill has departed me of late. Lots of luck with your truck.

Great- just NEVER sell any of the original sheet metal- It can't be replaced these days. Newc

One suggestion, you might want to add at least a general location of where you are to your profile. That way there may be someone right around the corner who might have something you need, friendly advice or at least a helping hand. JMO

Heck, even me... the guy that simply can't not restore a car... I'd just make this one safe and reliable. Too cool! Congratulations.

Re: 1936 ford pickup

THAT is a sharp '36. Hard to beat the '35 and '36 Ford pickups and trucks. Beautiful to look at just sitting still.

Congratulations. That one is too nice to chop up into a street rod like 90% of the people seem to do today. I'd keep it bone stock maybe a '46 Ford hyd. brakes upgrade and then you can run 1935 Ford spoke rims, but the wide fives look fine too;)

Keep us posted. Nice truck:):)
