1934 ford drive shaft length

Is there a different length in drive shaft in a 1934 ford car and 1934 ford pickup?

No, but there is a difference between the 4 and 8 cylinder engines.

Does anyone know the length of a 4 cylinder and 8 cylinder drive shaft?

Re: 1934 ford drive shaft length

Drive shaft and torque tube on a given car are different lengths. Drive shaft on a 34 V8 is 60 5/32"long. 4 cylinder is 58 7/16"long. The 4 cylinder engine is longer than the V8 engine and so the 4 cylinder engines transmission is mounted further back, hence the shorter drive shaft and torque tube. Regards, Kevin.
